7-a-side Mixed Hockey Tournament
Join us at Evesham & Badsey’s 7-a-side Mixed Hockey Tournament on Saturday 16th May 2026.
Tournament info
Format
Eight teams will each play a minimum of seven round-robin matches, followed by a plate final and a final. Teams can have a maximum of three male outfield players at any time. Goalkeepers can be male or female. Ten players maximum please.
Playing level
We’d like to encourage different playing abilities so please mix up your team and if you’re from a bigger club not just bring your 1s and 2s!
As a guide to playing standards we’re expecting players from West Hockey’s Severn Division 2 for Women and Cotswold Division 1 or 2 for Men.

- 09.30 Captains briefing.
- 10:00 first game.
- 15.30 presentations and finish.
Cost
£100 per team.
Location
TDMS (The De Montfort School), Four Pools Rd, Evesham, WR11 1DQ.

Throughout the day all of the teams have access to their scores and live position in the table.

Competing for the Chris Vince trophy
Chris Vince is our longest serving member and finally retired from official duties at the end of the 2022/23 season after fifty-five (55!) years of continuous service. He’s been a stalwart of our club and has taken every conceivable role over the years, finishing as an umpire. Chris deserves his well-earned retirement and we’re honoured to name our Mixed tournament trophy after him.
UPDATE: As of season 24/25 Chris is back umpiring!
UPDATE: In Season 25/26 Chris has retired again.
